JOB SUMMARY:

The Endoscopy Technician I is responsible for the care and maintenance of
endoscopes and accessory equipment utilized for medical procedures, following infection control
guidelines, hospital policies and manufacturer recommendations. Tasks are performed
independently and under the supervision of licensed staff.

SHIFT & SCHEDULE:

FT / 6:30 am - 3 pm

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS:
· Ability to assess, project and plan for procedural needs.
· Perform routine duties in a timely manner.
· Communicates effectively with physicians and team members.
· Supports and practices in accordance with Hospital policy, procedures and protocol.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Knowledge of infection control principles.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential
