Job Description

The Physician Contract Administrator will report to the Vice President Community Health. This role will be responsible for the administrative tasks of processing all agreements for approval and follow through on legal documents and incentive calculations. This position will work with the Director of Operations Primary Care, Director of Operations Specialty Care, Director of Operations Inpatient Provider Services, Manager of Physician Recruitment & Relations, and legal counsel to facilitate tasks. This person will be responsible for accurate, detailed and confidential physician records and will work with the team listed above in contract coordination and creating and maintaining provider contracts and MQA contracts including incentive and productivity calculations, invoices and distribution schedules.  They will also be responsible for updating Controller of changes in salary amounts, incentive payments due, new leases, and changes in leases.

8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS
Maintains tracking system for all provider contracts including renewal deadlines, productivity and quality incentives, bonus calculations, invoices for CIN membership and distributions.  Physician Contract Administrator will have access to Ntracts for contract review and will complete tasks assigned by legal counsel.
Processes all agreements for approval and follow-through on all documents sent to legal and respective Director to ensure accuracy and timeliness of implementation.
• Supports DireAssists in analysis and coordination of amendments, reimbursements, invoices and language changes. Requests information of billing codes, services provided and other information needed to complete the contract profile.ctors in creating and tracking provider Letters of Agreement, contracts and amendments from initial draft to full execution utilizing approved standardized contract templates/amendments. 
• Timely Coordination and completion of TMB Biennial Reports for each 501a organization.

Completion of Work History Forms as requested by Medical Staff.

• Coordinates preparation and routing distribution of documents to complete the contracting process in a timely and thorough manner according to standardized processes.

• Responsible for administrative duties required to maintain provider contracts under the 501a practice relationships and Midland Quality Alliance including but not limited to: Premier Physicians, Midland Inpatient Medical Associates, Permian Cardiology and West Texas Orthopedics.

• Interacts with staff, outside agencies, vendors, physicians and physician office staff, corporate/division staff, as well as departments within the facility.

• Performs multiple and varied functions simultaneously and efficiently. Prioritizes job responsibilities ensuring that workflow is smooth for office efficiency.

• Works well independently with little or no supervision; displays a positive & professional demeanor.

Maintains strict confidentiality of all work and hospital information and data.

• Immediately reports any reasonably suspected criminal conduct, malfeasance, nonfeasance, or substantive irregularities to Director.

• Performs other duties as assigned by Director.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• 3 - 5 years provider contract management experience in the health care field including, but not limited to, provider's office, managed care organization, or other health care field.
