The Staffing Coordinator works in the Human Resources department and supports the Talent Acquisition and Employee Experience teams with the logistics of hiring and onboarding new hires. The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the hiring process which includes, but is not limited to, running criminal backgrounds, processing job offers, entering hires and completing status changes for current employees utilizing the Applicant Tracking and HRIS systems. The Staffing Coordinator will routinely communicate with new hires and departmental leadership to manage the flow of hiring to meet the organization’s staffing needs. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills and the ability to foster relationships with employees, leadership and external vendors is essential. Reports to the Manager Talent Acquisition.

 

SHIFT AND SCHEDULE

Full Time: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS

  • Performs the administrative procedural functions and tasks of the recruiting/hiring process both timely and effectively. Task may include but is not limited to criminal backgrounds, MVRs, job offer letters, job descriptions and skills testing, etc.
  • Assists with completing change of status forms and updates records as needed.
  • Serves as a resource for all new hires regarding applications, the hiring and onboarding processes
  • Assists with the credentialing of new hires.
  • Assists with relocation and remote work agreements

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Must be a high school graduate or equivalent
  • 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in Human Resources.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task required
  • Bilingual preferred but not required

  • Stand, walk, sit, stoop, reach, lift, see, speak and hear. Lifting is limited to 35 lbs. for clinical staff and to 50 lbs. for non-clinical staff. The individual must use an assisted-lift device or get another individual(s) to assist with the lift that is over these maximum limits.
