The Practice Transition Operations Coordinator reports to Practice Transition Managers and provides logistical oversight of Health Care and Nurse Interns. Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office to serve transition managers. Assists and coordinates program activities and events. Must have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills to promote positive interactions with customers, coworkers, and guests. Strong organizational skills and multitasking in a fast-paced environment are essential. Assists Healthcare and Nurse interns in meeting Midland Health's employment requirements, including but not limited to helping with interns' day-to-day operations and ensuring they have access to the necessary resources and materials. The coordinator is responsible for arranging meetings, tracking progress, and maintaining detailed intern performance and attendance records. Additionally, the role involves coordinating onboarding and training sessions to ensure seamless integration into the healthcare team. It is not limited to completing required policy readings, onboarding/annual education, and RQI.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS
• Collects, maintains, and analyzes data for all related programs.
• Provides support by handling information requests and performing clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, scheduling meetings, and taking minutes.
• Responsible for archiving and organizing various documents, records, and reports.
• Coordinates logistics for meetings and events and assists in preparation.
• Participation in recruitment and recognition activities for all related programs.
• Responsible for ordering and maintaining supplies for Practice Transition Managers.
• Assists with new employee onboarding.
• Works with hospital applications including scheduling system, learning management system, timekeeping system, room reservation and catering system, and education platforms.
• Work activities may fall outside of standard business hours. Any overtime hours must be approved by Practice Transition Managers.
• Other duties as assigned by Practice Transition Managers.
• Demonstrates professionalism including current annual education documents and other competencies.
• Demonstrates and portrays an image that positively represents the hospital and the hospital’s core values.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proficiency in computer software programs such as Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and organizational skills are necessary.
• Prior experience in an educational environment is preferred.
